To round off the collection nicely, you can now take your favorite beach towel with you everywhere. It is perfect for a day at the beach, a swim at the pool or a picnic in the park. The absorbent linen-cotton mix is pleasantly soft, light and dries quickly.
Mizar & Alcor works hand in hand with local artisans from Anatolia. The textiles are handwoven only from sustainable materials such as linen and cotton, fabrics that are the most biodegradable. It will require less energy for washing and less material for weaving during production.

Sustainability at Le Bonnet
The wool Le Bonnet uses is 100% British made, which includes dyeing and spinning the yarn from start to finish. The wool mill in the UK is over 250 years old and still family owned.
Once the wool is ready, these cones of yarn are sent to Scotland where the hats and scarves are produced. The Scottish factory is over 150 years old, production is still done entirely on traditional machinery and provides jobs for the local Scottish community.

The fabrics are handwoven on centuries-old looms by artisans who have been perfecting their craft for over 100 years.
All textiles are woven from only the most sustainable materials, such as linen and certified 100% organic cotton.
The fabrics are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, which means that they
tested for human and ecological safety and guarantee the absence of harmful substances and allergic reactions. All yarns are sourced locally to minimize environmental impact and strengthen the local economy.
Mizar & Alcor was founded in the summer of 2016 on Turkey's Turquoise Coast to connect East and West and to integrate traditions into modern life.
Their vision is to reclaim forgotten weaving techniques from traditional artisanal craftsmanship and combine them with contemporary, Mediterranean-inspired designs. Mizar & Alcor works hand in hand with local artisans who remain faithful to a time-honored process.
