The baskets are made from palm leaves and are incredibly sturdy – a stylish and sustainable alternative, and 100% compostable. Handmade in Spain from palm leaves. A small company in Spain near Valencia produces wicker baskets. These baskets are handwoven with love and precision. The straps are very light at first and will darken over time due to sun and light. The wickerwork is also very light at first and has a slight greenish tinge (as it's made from palm leaves), but turns a beautiful sandy color with sun and use.
