Sessun Studio
Because Sessun attaches great importance to creating their own patterns, they have always had their own tailoring shop in-house. A team of 5 works there full-time on the creation of prototypes and patterns as well as on the assembly of our models. This allows us to make as many alterations as necessary to get the cut we want, test materials and perfect the workmanship of our clothing.
This aspect of “made-to-measure” allows them to create their garments with the utmost precision and quality, while perpetuating a textile tradition based on the expertise and meticulousness of professional tailors.
Here Mamadou and Marie-Jeanne take care of the sewing, the creation of the prototypes and the material testing, working closely with the pattern designer Corinne, who designs the patterns for the models. Natacha, for her part, checks the assembly, quality, workmanship and compliance with the specifications of each individual prototype.
